The Reflective Apparel Factory takes pride in supplying quality high visibility garments since 1989. Originally founded to support the public safety market's need for nighttime reflectivity, RAF was at the forefront of the ANSI standard for High Visibility. Over the years we have added a complete line of ANSI 107-2010 Compliant garments. VEA® is our registered trademark and assures you not only a highly visible garment but a comfortable and durable one as well. We start with premium components such as YKK® zippers, 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Materials, 3M™ Thinsulate™ and Teflon® coatings. Breathable fabrics coupled with quality sewing production provides a top value for our customers.

We pride ourselves on rapid turnaround of orders. Most gear can ship same day. For personalized gear with logos- we offer a full in-house art department to speed your request - often without a set-up fee or minimums! We'd love to show you why nearly 3/4 of our customers ask us to logo their items and establish corporate accounts.

We manufacture around the world as well as domestically to keep our prices competitive. Our inventory levels are a source of strength with nearly 100,000 jackets on hand for the winter season, and even deeper inventories of summer weight gear for the warmer months. With high speed lamination facilities, we can deliver on our commitments. Our offices, warehouse and production facilities are located in Marietta, Georgia.

As an ISO 9001:2008 certified company; all goods sold by RAF are carefully manufactured, tested, inspected, checked and packaged by experienced workers, and are as free from defects as possible prior to leaving the factory.

The Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) sets out guidelines for workers including railroad workers to wear ANSI Class 2 or Class 3 Fluorescent Hi-Visibility Apparel. The intent of these guidelines is to increase the visibility of the worker with appropriate retro-reflective material allowing them to be seen in low light and darkness. Safety Officers across the industry are adopting these safety standards as part of their Railway Worker Safety Programs.

Reflective Apparel Factory manufactures American National Standards Institute (ANSI) compliant garments that exceed Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) standards for personal protective equipment (PPE). These garments are compliant for workers operating in railroad right-of-ways, intersections, and highways.

Our wide range of hi visibility gear includes jackets, vests, shirts, sweatshirts, and rain suits. For safety apparel the most popular color is hi-visibility lime but we also offer a variety of products in hi-visibility orange. All of our garments are ANSI certified and independently tested which is why we are the number one choice throughout the rail industry. We serve all facets of the industry including Class I railroads, short line railroads, regional carriers and passenger lines.

Our in-house art department can work with your existing company logo or create entirely new graphics. We typically apply company logos, division specific identification, and employee title information such as Manager, or Supervisor to our garments. Back configurations are available on all our high visibility clothing.

With over twenty years of experience railroad workers have come to rely on Reflective Apparel Factory's hi visibility gear. Our staff can assist rail safety officers to find the perfect solution, whether your safety apparel need is for Maintenance of Way (MOW), Communication & Signals (C&S), Train Crews, Car Men, or Yardmasters.
