Alongside LDCC, we also offer Liquid-Sand, a new and proven technology developed for backfilling underground voids, like mine workings, and structures, using granular solids like sand. Liquid-Sand is distinguished from LDCC and other backfilling methodologies in that water use is drastically reduced, and it contains no costly binders like cement. The foam provides a transport medium for the solids, dissipating after placement and leaving only the backfill solids, providing engineers with a cost-effective solution for void filling.
