Initial applications were aimed at providing DC to AC inverters to supply on-board locomotive equipment (on-board refrigerators, pump motors, air conditioning and heating motors and compressors).

Drawing upon this know-how, the firm has designed devices that satisfy the requirements and extreme application conditions particular to this market, such as vibration and operating temperatures extremes.
